Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a Forklift Operator, Formula for our Bolingbrook, IL warehouse on the 1st shift. You will operate material handling equipment and transport freight to inventory, ensuring GMP and safety standards.

Day 1 benefits accompany a full-time schedule Monday–Friday with 5:00 AM start and variable end times based on volume. Must be able to lift 10–90 pounds and pass drug/background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry)
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
• Able to work scheduled times and overtime

Responsibilities

• Locate proper slot on storage racks and set pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items.
• Locate and count incoming freight in staging area and transport to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock items per next day’s work orders.
• Rotate date-sensitive stock to front of rack and remove outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
• Inspect pallets, remove packaging waste, and move pallets with pallet jack or forklift to storage areas.
• Follow safety policies, complete paperwork, and report unsafe conditions.
