Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Forklift Operator, Formula, to move freight and stock pallets in a Hickory, NC warehouse. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, examine items for damage, and ensure safe, efficient distribution in multi-temperature environments.

Responsibilities include locating slots, counting freight, replenishing pick slots, and maintaining GMP and safety standards to meet productivity targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks, sets pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items.
• Counts incoming freight and transports to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock according to next day’s work orders.
• Rotates stock to front of rack and removes outdated inventory.
• Disperses over-stocked items to available slots; secures and inspects pallets.
