Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Loader Formula to support its warehouse operations. You will transport items into trailers using forklift or pallet jack, and by hand, following a loading plan to ensure safe, accurate shipments.

You will work in a multi-temperature environment, meet productivity standards, and perform cleaning and safety checks. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required to maintain supply chains.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift with 10–35 lb and up to 60–90 lb depending on location
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry)
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Transports items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand in the correct stop sequence
• Moves outgoing products from staging area to the loading dock
• Wraps pallets with cellophane and secures loads with labels as needed
• Locates proper slot on trailer, sets in place and secures the load
• Inspects pallets for damage and moves loads to storage area
• Performs housekeeping duties and keeps areas clean and safe
• Follows safety policies and reports unsafe conditions
• Prepares for operations by obtaining supplies and performing safety checks
• Uses PPE and inspects trailers for cleanliness before loading
• Performs other duties as assigned
