Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is hiring a Behavior Technician I to support residents at the Adult Crisis Therapeutic Home in Woodbridge, VA. The role involves facilitating daily programs, delivering therapeutic interventions, and assisting with personal care to help individuals with IDD and/or BH needs.

Requires a High School diploma, and valid driver’s license with auto insurance. Benefits include a full package and a sign-on/retention bonus for full-time hires, with ongoing professional growth

• Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work

Your Role in Our Mission

As Behavior Technician I (BT I), you will make a huge impact by support individuals at the Adult Crisis Therapeutic Home who have co-occurring disabilities and/or behavioral health needs. Your key responsibilities will include facilitating daily programs and rehabilitative activities, providing therapeutic interventions, and assisting with personal care. As a member of the REACH team, you will work closely with participants’ primary care providers, community crisis services, and families to ensure comprehensive support for those referred to the home.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
• Receive a sign-on and retention bonus paid out at successful completion of 3, 6, and 12 months (full-time new hires only). Plus, additional yearly stipends provided as grant funding permits!
