Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Part-Time Behavior Technician II to support youths with IDD and BH challenges in Culpeper, VA. The role involves facilitating daily programs, providing therapeutic interventions, and assisting with personal care to prevent crises and hospitalization.

Applicants should have a Human Service degree or QMHP trainee status and be able to register within 30 days, plus a valid driver’s license. A comprehensive benefits package and sign-on bonus are offered.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Service field of study, or QMHP (trainee).
• The ability to register as a QMHP Trainee and be approved within 30 days of hire.

Part-Time: Saturday & Sunday 7a-7pm

Your Role in Our Mission

As a Behavior Technician II (BT), your days will be spent equipping individuals with the tools, coping skills and support to prevent hospitalization and crisis. Responsibilities include facilitating daily programs and rehabilitative activities, providing therapeutic interventions, and assisting with personal care. As a member of the REACH team, you will work closely with participants' primary care providers, community crisis services, and families to ensure comprehensive support for those referred to the home.

• Competitive Rate: $21 - $24 / hr based on experience
• Paid training: CPR / first-aid, Mindset, Medication Administration, Infectious Disease, Seizure Management, and QMHP-T supervision!

What We’re Looking For

• Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work
