Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an ID1 RDA Quality Engineer to develop and implement quality systems across the Realtime Defect Analysis and Metrology groups. You will monitor metrics, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with global teams to transfer technology to high-volume manufacturing.

You will apply statistics, FMEA, sampling strategies, and data analytics to improve process monitoring and yield performance while communicating findings across cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, physics, chemistry, or data science.
• Experience analyzing manufacturing, process, quality, or engineering data to identify trends.
• Understanding of SPC, root cause analysis, and quality management principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and BKMs for RDA and Metrology.
• Monitor quality metrics, baseline health indicators, SPC compliance, and wafer-at-risk events.
• Lead or support excursion mitigation, FMEA, sampling strategy, and audit documentation.
• Collaborate with global sites to align quality methodologies and transfer technology to high-volume manufacturing.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools and data analytics to improve process monitoring and decision making.
