Job summary

Micron Technology in Manassas, VA is seeking a Sr. RDA Equipment Applications Engineer to own and optimize real-time defect analysis toolsets, develop recipes, monitor stability, and drive tool reliability across the fab.

You will partner with equipment vendors, analyze tool data, establish SPC charts, and deliver advanced application support, with opportunities to grow in breadth and depth through cross-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in semiconductor defect analysis with inline defect analysis background.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and SPC/data analysis.
• Interest in integrating Agentic AI workflows into processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize RDA toolsets, including recipe development and stability monitoring.
• Improve tool performance and support advanced application issues with vendors.
• Establish SPC charts, analyze data, and drive corrective actions.
• Train engineers on protocols and collaborate across sites.
