Ciena Healthcare is seeking a Dietitian Manager to oversee the dietary department at Sheffield Manor Nursing & Rehab Center in Michigan. You will supervise dietary staff, ensure nutritional care plans are followed, and manage menus, budgets, and supplies to meet regulatory standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Dietetics/Nutrition and RD licensure, with experience in healthcare dietary services and supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or related field is required.
• One year of dietitian experience in healthcare or skilled nursing preferred.
• One to two years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MDS, care planning, and clinical documentation standards.
• Knowledge of federal and state dietary regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the dietary department and supervises staff to meet nutritional standards.
• Ensures meals comply with physician orders and dietary care plans.
• Leads budgeting, ordering, and supply management for the department.
• Provides guidance on menu planning, nutrition care, and diet therapy.
• Maintains records of residents’ diet histories and progress notes.
• Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
