Job summary

Indiana University Health is recruiting a Revenue Cycle Services Specialist for onsite work at White Memorial Hospital from 6pm to 6am. The role focuses on patient registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling, cashiering, and release of information.

We seek individuals with at least one year in Revenue Cycle, strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, and solid written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle preferred.
• Working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills expected.
• Ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
• Ability to take initiative and meet objectives.

Responsibilities

Onsite at White Memorial Hospital: 6p-6a

This position is responsible for the delivery of customer facing services within Revenue Cycle System Services. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling/individual solutions, cashiering, release of information and customer service. Position adheres to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards in support of operational goals.

• At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred.
• Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
