Job summary

Baylor Genetics seeks a Manager, RCM Training & Excellence to lead onboarding, role-based training, SOP maintenance, competency testing, and quality reviews for RCM staff. The role collaborates with the Director, RCM Operations and SMEs to ensure training reflects current payer and coding requirements, system changes, and approved policies.

The Manager will measure training impact by evaluating competency, knowledge checks, and work samples, ensuring readiness before independent work and driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in healthcare RCM with training/quality exposure.
• Experience writing SOPs, job aids, curricula, assessments, and competency standards.
• Experience using audit data to identify training needs.
• Strong writing, facilitation, coaching, organization, and presentation skills.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating SMEs/trainers.

Responsibilities

• Build onboarding plans for each RCM role with learning, practice, and assessments.
• Deliver role-based training using practical cases and knowledge checks.
• Track learner progress and provide recommendations for coaching or retraining.
• Maintain controlled inventory of SOPs, job aids, curricula, and facilitator guides.
• Update training materials when workflows or payer requirements change.
• Define passing standards and validate competency before independent work.
• Support system changes with training and job aids before launch.
• Create quality reviews and analyze trends to identify training needs.
• Report onboarding, competency, and quality metrics to leadership.
