Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision. The role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or related healthcare experience and current ACLS certification.

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or commensurate healthcare experience.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required.
RCIS certification within six months of hire date.
ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
Assists physician as a monitor tech during procedures in the cath lab and operates physiologic recorder.
Assists physician with most procedures as a scrub tech and operates imaging equipment.
Assists with transport of patient to and from department.
Cleans and stocks cath lab and maintains sterile technique.
