Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• RCIS certification within six months of date of hire.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Assist physician as monitor tech during cath lab procedures and interpret dysrhythmia and EKGs.
• Operate imaging equipment under physician direction and assist with scrub duties.
• Assist with circulator responsibilities and monitor patient status during procedures.
• Transport patients to and from the department and maintain sterile technique.
