Job summary

Big Dreamers ABA in Maryland seeks a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work with children and individuals with ASD or developmental disabilities. You will implement behavior plans under BCBA supervision to improve social, communication, and daily living skills.

You will collaborate with families, collect data, and contribute to individualized treatment plans while maintaining thorough documentation and adherence to privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Familiarity with ABA principles and data collection.
• Ability to engage effectively with children and adolescents.
• Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical documentation, care plans, and patient care practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and track client progress through data collection.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans.
• Work closely with families and caregivers to ensure the consistent application of behavior strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and medical records.
• Support clients in their daily living activities (ADLs) and social interactions.
• Conduct structured teaching sessions using ABA principles.
