Job summary

Big Dreamers ABA in Maryland is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with children with autism and developmental disabilities. You will implement behavior intervention plans developed by BCBAs to help clients improve social, communication, and daily living skills.

You will track progress with data, maintain documentation, and collaborate with families to ensure consistent application of strategies.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with ABA principles and techniques.
• Ability to effectively engage with children and adolescents.
• Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical documentation, care plans, and patient care practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and track client progress through data collection.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans.
• Work closely with families and caregivers to ensure the consistent application of behavior strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and medical records.
• Support clients in their daily living activities (ADLs) and social interactions.
• Conduct structured teaching sessions using ABA principles.
