Job summary

RightWay ABA in Paramus, NJ seeks a Behavior Technician (BT) to support children ages 2-18 through in-home and center-based therapy. You will work under a BCBA, delivering individualized ABA treatment and building essential communication and daily living skills.

The role emphasizes data collection, collaboration with supervising BCBAs, and adherence to BACB ethics, with ongoing training to advance toward RBT certification.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans created by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, daily living, and play skills.
• Use reinforcement strategies to increase desired behaviors.
• Implement behavior-reduction plans to address challenging behaviors.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress.
• Prepare materials needed for therapy sessions.
• Maintain detailed session notes and documentation per standards.
• Track skill acquisition and behavior trends using data-collection software.
• Communicate progress with supervising BCBAs.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
• Provide feedback to caregivers under BCBA guidance.
• Follow BACB ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality.
