Job summary

RightWay ABA in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to support children ages 2-18 in in-home and center-based therapy. You will work under a BCBA, implementing individualized ABA treatment plans and helping clients build communication, social, daily living, and play skills.

You will collect real-time data, prepare materials, maintain notes, and collaborate with supervising BCBAs and caregivers to support progress while upholding BACB ethics and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA treatment plans created by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, daily living, and play skills.
• Use reinforcement strategies to increase desired behaviors.
• Implement behavior‑reduction plans to address challenging behaviors.
• Collect accurate, real‑time data on client progress.
• Prepare materials needed for therapy sessions.
• Maintain detailed session notes and documentation according to company and insurance standards.
• Track skill acquisition and behavior trends using data‑collection software or paper systems.
• Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs about client progress and challenges.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
• Provide feedback to caregivers when appropriate and under BCBA guidance.
