Opal Autism Centers in Pinehurst, NC is hiring a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision in a center-based setting.

You will collect data, engage children with autism in therapeutic activities, and communicate progress with families. Competitive pay between $37,440 and $52,000 with a $1,000 bonus, plus paid training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or BACB-approved 40-hour RBT training
• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year experience working with children or individuals with special needs
• Ability to obtain CPR certification before start date
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a treatment team
• Desire for ongoing professional development and training
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit/stand/squat throughout the day
• On-site center-based work

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA
• Collect data on client behaviors and progress
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning and development
• Communicate with families about their child's progress and strategies
• Assist in developing educational materials and resources
