Job summary

Helping Hands Family in Glen Oaks, MD is seeking passionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism in clinics, homes, or community settings. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA, collect behavior data, and collaborate with your team to support each child’s progress.

The role requires a high school diploma and willingness to complete HHF's RBT training and pass the exam within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate/bachelor’s in human services preferred.
• Comfort working with children.
• Ability to walk, run, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication with clients’ families.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to complete HHF-provided RBT training and pass the RBT exam within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 direct care to children with autism in clinics, at home, or in the community.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments and positive reinforcement.
• Implement therapy sessions designed by a BCBA.
• Accurately collect behavior data and collaborate with the team to support progress.
