Job summary

Empower Behavioral Health in Texas is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 therapy for children with autism in a clinic-based day program. You will implement BCBA-designed plans and consistently document progress. A supportive team and clear paths toward BCBA certification are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have completed high school or equivalent.
• Experience with children ages 18 months to 12 years preferred.
• Willingness to be trained in ABA principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 therapy in a clinic-based day program for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Implement individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA.
• Track and record daily treatment via Central Reach.
• Assist with staffing and provide therapy at additional clinic locations as needed.
• Assist BCBA to implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition plans.
• Respond to feedback and maintain/improve performance.
• Create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for each patient.
