Job summary

Dogwood Autism Services is seeking entry-level and experienced Registered Behavior Technicians to join our team. You will work 1:1 with children ages 1-5, supporting communication, social, and adaptive skills under BCBA supervision.

We offer paid RBT certification and training within 30 days, a path for career advancement, and a benefits package for full-time employees. Clinic hours are 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children in 1:1 or classroom/group settings (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (Required), 4-year degree in ABA or related field (Preferred).
• Access to reliable transportation (Required).
• Maintain valid CPR certification (Required).
• High interest and willingness to learn about, understand, and work with children diagnosed with Autism, Spectrum Disorder through ABA Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 intervention to children ages 1-5 consistent with best practices in applied behavior analysis across communication, social, and adaptive skills domains.
• Implement individualized treatment plans as designed by the supervisor and clinical leadership team.
• Collect data and make function-based decisions with oversight of the supervisor.
• Communicate and collaborate with team members and supervisors.
• Work with family members and stakeholders to coordinate care across clinic, home, and community settings.
• Maintain professional standards in line with Dogwood Autism Service’s values to Be Kind, Be Smart, Be Brave, Be Committed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, including lifting and carrying clients.
• Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time.
