Job summary

Empower Behavioral Health is looking for Registered Behavior Technicians in McAllen, Texas. In this role, you will provide one-on-one therapy to children with autism in a clinic environment. You will implement treatment plans, track progress, and support BCBA initiatives.

This position offers a minimum of 35 hours per week, competitive pay of $16.25 to $24.50 per hour, and comprehensive benefits, including health insurance and paid training. Join a supportive team where your work truly makes a difference!

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Physical ability to handle various demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 therapy in a clinic-based day program.
• Implement individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA.
• Track and record daily treatment via Central Reach.
• Assist BCBA to implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition plans.

Skills

Experience with children ages 18 months–12 years

Willingness to be trained in ABA principles

Ability to maintain physical holds

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
