Job summary

Blue Gems ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children with autism in home, school, or clinic settings. You will implement behavior intervention plans and collect progress data under BCBA supervision.

You will collaborate with families and caregivers to support skill development and create a safe, engaging session environment. A valid RBT certification or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or eligible to obtain certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field is a plus.
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to support consistency and meaningful skill development.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
