Innova Solutions is seeking a Ray ONLY Component Level Test Technician LL.US in McKinney, TX for a 4-month contract with potential extension. The role is onsite with a fixed night shift or an alternative shift, and requires W-2 employment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with power supplies, high-voltage systems, test equipment, and troubleshooting, plus familiarity with reading engineering drawings and basic computer tools. Training on first shift is provided.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in power supplies, high-voltage systems, test equipment, and strong troubleshooting skills.
• HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/ technical education with 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, microelectronics, aerospace, or defense environments with navigation/radar test experience.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, Email, math).
• Comfort with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and electrical testing equipment.
• Experience with robotic testing equipment or ESS/high voltage testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of 6 Sigma/ Kaizen/lean manufacturing and ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manual bench testing, set up and operate test equipment, log data into FOS, create non-conformances, and perform rework.
• Complete annual trainings on safety, hazardous materials, quality systems, and related topics.

Job Description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Test Technician.

Position type: Full-time, Contract to possible extension

Duration: 4 months

Location: McKinney TX 75071- Onsite

Shift: Monday - Friday (10 PM - 6:30 AM OR 2 PM - 10:30 PM) – Trainings on 1 st shift

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Responsibilities

• Manual bench testing, set up and operate test equipment, input pedigree information on the parts into our Factory Operating System (FOS), create non-conformances in FOS for test failures, and perform rework.
• Individual will have annual training requirements in topics ranging from safety, hazardous materials, quality systems, and other topics.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Hands-on experience in power supplies, high-voltage systems, test equipment, and strong troubleshooting skills.
• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 years of relevant experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing, microelectronics, aerospace, or defense industry environment with hands on technical experience in testing of navigation and/or radar system assemblies.
• Basic computer (MS Office – Word/Excel/Power Point), E-mail, and math skills.
• Comfortable using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical testing equipment.
• Experience with robotic equipment for testing, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) equipment, or high voltage testing and components is highly desired.
• Knowledge of 6 Sigma/ Kaizen/lean manufacturing and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is a plus.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: $25.00/hr to $29.55/hr

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
