Innova Solutions is seeking a CMM Operator for a full-time contract role in Mountainhome, PA. The candidate will set up, program, and operate CMM equipment for first-article and in-process inspections, interpreting drawings and GD&T to ensure precision.

Calypso programming, calibration, and training duties are included, with a 7:30am–4:30pm schedule. Requires HS diploma and 1+ year CMM programming experience in aerospace/defense/manufacturing, plus familiarity with FAIRs, PPAPs, AS9100/ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years’ experience with CMM programming.
• Aerospace, defense, automotive, or precision machining background.
• Experience with FAIRs, PPAPs, and AS9100/ISO 9001 standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CMM equipment to perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, models, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Create, modify, and troubleshoot CMM programs (e.g., Calypso).
• Perform dimensional analysis using micrometers, calipers, height gages, optical comparators, and other precision instruments.
• Document inspection results and generate reports for quality records, FAIRs, and customer submissions.
• Identify nonconformances and communicate findings to engineering, production, and quality teams.
• Support root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain calibration of inspection tools and follow all standard work, safety procedures, and quality system requirements.
• Assist with training operators and inspectors on print reading and measurement techniques.

• Position type: Full-time, Contract to possible extension or hire
• Duration: 9 Months
• Location: Mountainhome, Pennsylvania 18326
• Shifts: Monday - Friday (Core Hours are 7:30am-4:30pm)

As an CMM Operator you will:

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $23 to $28/hour

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
