• Practical experience with lab equipment for hardware development, troubleshooting, and data capture.

Responsibilities

• Support entire product lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, lab specs, integration testing, flight test, sub-contractor management, field support, customer interactions.
• Develops and documents moderately complex electronic/electrical system requirements.
• Designs hardware, software, and interface specifications.

Job Description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Electrical Design & Analysis Engineer

Position type: Full-time, Contract

Duration: 6 Months with possible extension

Location: Everett, WA-Onsite

As an Electrical Design & Analysis Engineer, you will:

• Support for the entire product lifecycle, including requirements analysis, systems design, lab design/specification, integration testing, flight test, technical sub-contractor management, field support, and customer interactions.
• Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Designs hardware, software, and interface specifications.
• Tests validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
• Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
• Research specific technology advances potential application to company business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Any Advance Degree in STEM Classification (Technology, Engineering, Computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry).
• 3+ years’ experience with hardware or Electrical/Electronic Systems Design in Aerospace/Defense field.
• Working Knowledge in subsystem design, requirement analysis/allocation.
• Practical experience with lab equipment for hardware development, troubleshooting, and data capture.

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with LRU development, test, and qualification.
• Military aircraft program experience.
• MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC-429 and Ethernet architecture and knowledge.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Strong leadership, team building, and mentoring skills.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $65/hr to $75/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
