Job summary

Arvato in the United States seeks a procurement professional to support monthly procurement meetings, place purchase orders, and reconcile month-end invoices. You will report variances to the Purchasing Manager and help manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and service aligns with ISO processes.

This role requires a high school diploma with procurement experience, strong Excel and SAP skills, and the ability to work with internal departments on multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with procurement experience preferred; Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, SAP and Outlook experience valued.
• Minimum High School Diploma; BS degree preferred.
• 4–6 years experience in procurement.
• Proven track record of accomplishments in procurement.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Efficient, highly organized, detail-oriented professional.
• Excellent PC skills, SAP preferred; MS Office Suite proficiency.
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees and customers.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical, reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly procurement meetings.
• Report variances to the Purchasing Manager.
• Place purchase orders.
• Month-end invoice reconciliation.
• Assist in managing vendor relationships.
• Issue RFPs/RFQs and process procurement requests.
• Produce regular procurement reports.
• Support contract negotiations where needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments on needs and requirements.
• Identify and report vendor quality or service issues.
• Adhere to ISO processes.
