Job summary

Arvato is seeking a procurement professional to support all purchasing of materials and supplies, maintaining detailed records and ensuring accurate sourcing, negotiations, and just-in-time inventory.

Responsibilities include monthly procurement meetings, placing orders, vendor issue reporting, contract negotiations, and ISO compliance. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills and experience with SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years procurement experience preferred but not required; strong organizational/interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, SAP and Outlook.
• BS degree preferred; High School Diploma minimum.
• 4–6 years experience in procurement.
• Established record of accomplishments.
• Proven leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and oral/written communication skills.
• Efficient, highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Proficiency with SAP and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees and customers.
• Strong planning/multi-tasking ability and deadline discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly procurement meetings.
• Report variances to the Purchasing Manager.
• Place purchase orders.
• Month end invoice reconciliation.
• Issuance of RFP/RFQ’s.
• Reporting.
• Contract negotiations.
• Solutions provider.
• Proactive work ethic.
• Partner with internal departments on needs and requirements.
• Report issues regarding vendor product quality, dependability, and service issues.
• Follow ISO processes.
• Other tasks as assigned.
