Job summary

Arvato in the United States is seeking a procurement professional to support material purchases, supplier negotiations, and record-keeping. You will assist with sourcing, spot buys when needed, just-in-time inventory, and ensure ISO processes are followed.

The role requires experience with SAP and MS Office tools, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with multiple departments to align on needs and requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 3-4 years procurement experience preferred.
• BS Degree is ideal but not required.
• 4-6 years experience in procurement.

Job Description

In thisrole, you willassistwith all procurement functions related to the purchasing of materials and supplies, whilemaintainingaccurateand detailed records. Using your strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, you will alsobe responsible forsourcing,initiating,and negotiating material purchases & contracts, spot buys whenappropriate, just in time inventory, while keeping excess inventory a minimum.

Your Tasks

• Report issues regarding vendor product quality, dependability, and service issues

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 3-4 years experience in procurement preferred but not required. Possess strong organizational interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, SAP and Outlook.
• Min - High School Diploma (ideal BS Degree)
• 4 -6 years experience in procurement.
• Established record of accomplishments.
• Proven leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and oral/written communication skills.
• Must be efficient, highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent personal computer skills required, especially SAP (ideal), MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
• Able to interact with all levels of employees, management, external and internal customers
• Organizational and planning skills, including ability to: prioritize work, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set personal goals and enforce personal deadlines, while maintaining flexibility to reassess and prioritize goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
