Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking a Rates and Pricing Analyst in New York to shape rate strategy, evaluate client profitability, and support smarter pricing decisions. You will work with attorneys and leadership across practice groups to drive profitability and smarter pricing.

Responsibilities include analyzing client rates and profitability, reviewing rate agreements, supporting annual rate processes, building pricing models for AFAs and RFPs, and delivering reports to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a law firm or professional services firm.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience with pricing of legal services or non-hourly pricing models preferred; law firm experience highly preferred.

• Review existing rate agreements and billing trends, working with attorneys and the billing team to strengthen client economics
• Support the firm's annual rate process and periodic client reviews with historical analysis, benchmarking, and market research
• Build matter budgets and pricing models for alternative fee arrangements, proposals, and RFPs
• Track budget-to-actual results and use past outcomes to improve future pricing
• Partner with Finance, Billing, Marketing, and Business Development on pricing initiatives
• Prepare clear reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders

Qualifications

• Experience with pricing of legal services preferred, which includes a strong working knowledge of non-hourly pricing models.

The annual base salary range is $100,000 to $115,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
