Job summary

Syneos Health is launching a dedicated Rare Disease GI/Hepatology team in Charlottesville. The Territory Business Manager will drive sales within an assigned geography, build relationships with gastroenterologists and hepatologists, and deliver scientifically focused presentations communicating therapeutic value.

The role requires strong analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and a compliant, entrepreneurial mindset to optimize territory plans and achieve market access objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business or a related field required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Consistent track record of top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Must be able to travel, valid driver’s license, and autonomous work style.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed sales goals within an assigned territory.
• Establish professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Work in a matrixed selling environment with cross-functional teams.
• Use data tools and insights to develop territory business plans and strategies.
• Plan and organize activities to ensure regular territory coverage and manage budget.
