You will hire, lead, and develop Rare Disease Specialists, provide strategic direction, and manage regional plans and budgets to meet company objectives. As a member of the sales leadership team, you will collaborate with commercial and project management, promote BioCryst products, and ensure compliance with regulations while embodying corporate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10 years of biotech/pharmaceutical sales experience, with leadership in rare disease or complex sales.
• Academic/teaching institution experience preferred.
• Proven track record of high performance (e.g., Top 10%, President’s Club).
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Strong KOL relationship development.

Responsibilities

• Exceed regional goals and manage P&L for Great Lakes.
• Lead and develop Rare Disease Specialists in region.
• Develop regional business plan and manage budgets.
• Collaborate with commercial and project teams to promote BioCryst products.
• Build relationships with key customers.
• Ensure regulatory and corporate policy compliance.
• Provide strategic direction to sales team.
