Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Territory Business Manager for a Rare Disease launch in Columbia, SC. You will drive sales growth through strategic territory plans, build relationships with Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists, and partner with FRMs, Market Access, Medical, and Marketing teams to deliver clinical value.

The role emphasizes autonomy, data-driven decision making, and compliant selling in a fast-paced environment with travel as needed. Prior rare disease/ GI experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.
• Consistent top-tier sales accomplishments.
• Experience calling on Gastroenterologists/Hepatologists in territory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve/exceed sales goals within an assigned geography.
• Establish relationships with targeted physicians to grow opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (FRMs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing, Operations).
• Use data tools and insights to shape territory strategy and action plans.
• Plan activities for regular territory coverage and manage the budget.
