Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Raptor Manufacturing Specialist (Maintenance) in Hawthorne, CA. You will support preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on production equipment, collaborating with engineers and production teams to maintain high uptime.

Responsibilities include diagnosing complex systems, developing work instructions, and ensuring safety protocols. Compensation includes Level 4/5 pay bands, comprehensive benefits, and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency.
5+ years in manufacturing/technical environment.
Experience with maintenance on industrial equipment such as welding tools, ovens, vacuum systems or environmental test chambers.
Familiarity reading blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings.

Responsibilities

Own asset recovery processes from fault diagnosis to return-to-production release.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective repairs to ensure uptime.
Collaborate with engineers, managers, and customers to keep systems in peak condition.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems using root-cause analysis.
