Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer, Manufacturing for the Raptor program in Hawthorne, CA. The role emphasizes technical leadership in manufacturing processes, supplier development, and NPI for rocket components and assemblies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 1+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical point of contact for assigned rocket parts and supplier challenges.
• Own the new product introduction of new parts and assemblies, selecting manufacturing methods and ramp-to-rate processes.
• Drive improvements to manufacturability, lead times, and cost.
• Review issues and implement root-cause fixes with suppliers and SpaceX.
• Lead containment activities and coordinate cross-functional actions.
