Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN and one year of RN experience at hire
• Demonstrated competence in RN performance expectations or meets experience requirements on hire
• Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire
• CPR within 14 days
• ACLS within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and provide nursing care to meet physical, psychological and spiritual needs.
• Design, implement and document plans of care and discharge plans with the care team.
• Prepare patients for treatments, surgeries and diagnostics and report changes to the physician or charge nurse.
• Reassess patients after interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Provide accurate bedside shift reports to oncoming staff and coordinate with family when appropriate.
