Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks a Rapid Response Team (RRT) Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.) at the Paulding Campus, GA. The RN coordinates RRT assessments, prioritizes interventions, and ensures timely, evidence-based care with documentation and interdepartmental collaboration.

Requirements include GA RN licensure, Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred, and certifications such as ACLS, BLS. Sign-on bonus eligible for experienced RR/ER/ICU nurses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with GA RN licensure.
• BSN preferred but not required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Responds to Rapid Response Team (RRT) calls promptly.
• Coordinate patient care during events including assessment and planning.
• Communicate with medical staff and departments to ensure outcomes.
• Intervene in crises to maintain quality patient care.
• Document assessments and interventions in the medical record (SBAR).
• Develop and implement RRT clinical practice guidelines.
