UCI Health seeks an experienced Rapid Response TeamRegistered Nurse to coordinate Code Blue and Rapid Response assessments, respond to Code Stroke calls, and ensure timely nursing care for deteriorating patients. You will use Point of Care Ultrasounds, iSTAT, ABG analysis, and intraosseous access as needed.

This role serves as a clinical resource for physicians and staff. Requirements include a CA RN license, BLS/ACLS, CCRN or TCRN, and a Bachelor's in Nursing, with 5+ years ICU/ED and 2+ years

Formación

• Must have a current CA RN license and maintain current.
• Must have a current BLS and ACLS and maintain current.
• CCRN or TCRN upon hire and maintain current.
• All external candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or above.
• Minimum five years of recent clinical nursing experience in ICU or ED.
• Minimum two years of recent experience in an acute care setting.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate Code Blue and Rapid Response Team assessment and prioritization.
• Respond to Code Stroke calls and rapid response alerts for patient deterioration.
• Provide nursing care with advanced interventions including PO Ultrasound, iSTAT, ABG, and intraosseous access.
• Serve as clinical resource for physicians and staff; contribute to surveillance rounding.
• Develop practice guidelines, collect data, and participate in education and evaluation.
