UC San Diego Health is seeking a Code Nurse to provide 24/7 response to Code Blue, Rapid Response, Code Stroke, and STEMI activations. You will proactively round across units and monitor decompensation signs, ensuring timely interventions.

Role requires an accredited nursing program, valid CA RN license, BLS/CPR and ACLS with commitment to obtain UCSD Code ART within six months. Minimum three years ICU experience and strong leadership are essential.

Competenze

Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
Valid California RN license.
BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications at time of hire; commitment to obtain UCSD Code ART within 6 months.
Minimum three years of inpatient, acute care adult ICU RN experience or equivalent.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills for complex critical care settings.
Demonstrates leadership skills essential for directing Code Blue/RRTs in a complex hospital environment.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and external constituents.
Experience with quality improvement and performance improvement projects.

Mansioni

Provide 24/7 Code Nurse response to Code Blue, Rapid Response, Code Stroke and STEMI activations.
