Job summary

UCI Health seeks a Rapid Response Team (RRT) Registered Nurse to coordinate Code Blue and rapid response assessments, responding to alerts and providing advanced nursing interventions to prevent deterioration. This role supports physicians and staff, evaluates patient status, and contributes to guidelines and education within UCI Health.

The position requires a CA RN license, BLS/ACLS, CCRN/TCRN on hire, and a bachelor's degree in nursing, with at least five years ICU/ED experience and two years

Qualifications

• Requires CA RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Minimum five years ICU or ED clinical nursing experience.
• Minimum two years in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Code Blue and Rapid Response Team assessments.
• Respond to rapid response alerts and Code Stroke calls.
• Provide advanced nursing interventions and perform ABGs, iSTAT, ultrasound.
• Develop practice guidelines, collect data and educate staff.
