Job summary

Interpreters and Translators, Inc. (iTi) seeks an Interpreter Liaison to support our interpreters in real-time, optimize fill rates, and coordinate assignment logistics.

You will serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring fast, empathetic responses and seamless service delivery for both interpreters and clients. Reporting to the Supervisor of Interpreter Services, you will balance speed with cost efficiency, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Quality

Qualifications

• 2+ years in high-volume scheduling or vendor coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication under pressure.
• Ability to negotiate to secure interpreter coverage within guidelines.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented with real-time problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Speed of Fill: ensure same-day/next-day coverage with speed and accuracy.
• Queue Management: monitor TalkDesk and iTi Live queues to close gaps.
• Crisis Escalation: escalate at-risk assignments for supervisor approvals.
• On-Site Support: assist interpreters with logistics during assignments.
• Documentation: maintain CRM notes on interpreter feedback and changes.
• Financial Accuracy: document one-off negotiated rates for accounting.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to identify gaps.
• Route feedback to Quality Associate for investigations.
