Job summary

UniversalLanguage is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator in Bellevue, WA to efficiently fill interpreter assignments and provide excellent service to clients and interpreters. This fast-paced role requires strong communication, organization, and attention to detail to meet productivity goals.

The role also supports interpreter recruiting, onboarding, reactivation, and account setup to ensure coverage and smooth operations across the scheduling team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute with accurate data-entry skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to learn scheduling software and company procedures.
• Ability to work a full eight-hour shift in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible to work 24/7 shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and fill interpreter assignments based on client needs and interpreter availability.
• Contact interpreters about available assignments and encourage acceptance.
• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently.
• Monitor open, urgent, and difficult-to-fill assignments and secure coverage.
• Maintain scheduling records and communicate assignment changes promptly.
• Provide responsive customer service to clients, interpreters, and internal teams.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, reactivating interpreters.
• Meet scheduling, productivity, attendance, customer service, commission, and department goals.
