Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center seeks an experienced Rapid Response Registered Nurse for its Intensive Care Unit to support critical care teams and respond to rapid response calls. The role requires bedside nursing in a high-acuity setting and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates have a BSN, at least three years of acute care experience (CCRN/CEN preferred), current BLS, and national certification within six months.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred.
• Three years acute care nursing experience minimum; Critical Care or Emergency Department experience in health care including direct patient care, staff education and system-level problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care support to nursing staff across hospital units and respond to Rapid Response Team calls.
• Identify gaps in care delivery and recommend solutions to improve patient outcomes.
• Collect and analyze data from rapid responses and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
