Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years acute care nursing experience.
• CCRN or CEN certification preferred.
• Active RN license and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care support to nursing staff in the ICU.
• Respond to Rapid Response Team calls and activate Code STEMI, Sepsis, Stroke as appropriate.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and care expectations.
• Work at bedside in critical care to maintain competencies.
• Collect and analyze data of rapid responses.
• Conduct proactive rounds on nursing units to identify at-risk patients.
• Demonstrate effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Participate in updating and upholding standards of practice.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and education programs.
• Promote Evidence-Based Practice for team members.
