Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Critical Care Response Team. The role supports frontline staff during acute deterioration outside the ICU and serves as a clinical mentor and operational partner.

Requirements include ADN (BSN preferred with progression), RN license, CPR, and minimum six months of nursing experience; 2–3 years in rapid response or ICU areas are preferred. 36 hours weekly, 12-hour rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• ADN is required; BSN preferred with a pathway to BSN.
• RN license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum six months of nursing experience.
• 2–3 years in rapid response/critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical expert, mentor, and operational partner to frontline nurses and providers.
• Support care delivery for patients deteriorating outside the ICU.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to optimize patient safety and outcomes.
