Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; and some previous work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of department policies, local geography, and city boundaries.
• Listening and communicating clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Answer emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatch Police, Fire, and EMS services.
• Organize calls, personnel and resources through computer-aided dispatch.
• Verify, record, and relay information from responders in the system.
• Enter and manage NCIC/TCIC entries and other required certifications.
