Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
• Must meet TCLEOSE requirements for certification as a Police Telecommunications Operator.
• One year experience in emergency service dispatch or security-related position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct activities of field personnel and provide information upon which they may act.
• Provide rapid response to law enforcement or other emergency needs and protect officers, staff, patients and visitors.
• Be ready to take command of a situation if no other authority is available.
• Operate under stressful conditions.
