Job summary

VulnCheck, The Exploit Intelligence Company, seeks a Software Engineer for Rapid Response Assignment. You will diagnose, fix, and rapidly resolve customer-reported issues across our platform, delivering durable solutions that keep customers unblocked.

As part of a global engineering team, you’ll write high-quality code, improve backend systems and data pipelines, and collaborate with Customer Success to ensure outcomes that reflect our commitment to customers and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and scaling backend systems.
• Experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or threat intelligence.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or Java.
• Excellent diagnosis and debugging to root cause production issues.
• Customer-focused mindset delivering accurate, high-quality solutions.
• Excellent communication across customers and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, and cloud (AWS preferred).
• Experience with data pipelines and ETL systems.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer-reported issues quickly from investigation through to a durable fix.
• Diagnose complex, ambiguous problems across services and data pipelines, tracing them to root cause.
• Deliver high-quality engineering work that improves the platform and directly addresses customer needs.
• Partner closely with Customer Success to align on technical solutions and outcomes.
• Maintain and improve backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and uphold engineering best practices.
• Improve system reliability, performance, and observability across the platform.
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations.
