Job summary

VulnCheck is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and scale the infrastructure powering our exploit intelligence platform. You will own deployment pipelines, reliability practices, and on‑call readiness, driving security, performance, observability, and cost efficiency.

This fully remote role in the United States focuses on scalable, automated solutions and close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and scaling cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE systems.
• Strong programming or scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, etc.
• Experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or threat intelligence.
• Deep experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience designing distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Proven ability to debug production systems and own on-call incidents.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, secure cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Own infrastructure end-to-end, including architecture, provisioning, deployment, and operation.
• Lead technical design discussions and influence architecture decisions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and automation to support velocity.
• Debug complex production issues and implement durable, scalable solutions.
• Improve performance, reliability, observability, and cost-efficiency across the platform.
• Define and drive SRE practices, including SLIs/SLOs and incident response.
• Partner with Product and other Engineering teams to deliver impactful features.
• Own and participate in on-call rotations and operational readiness.
