VOA Illinois is seeking a Client Support & Service Coordinator for the Rapid Rehousing program in Chicago. This full-time, on-site role includes one remote day per week after six months of training and supports people moving from homelessness to stable housing.

You will manage a caseload of 20–25 clients, develop Housing Stability Plans, coordinate housing searches and rental assistance, and work with landlords and community partners using trauma-informed, harm-reduction approaches.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in human services, Social Work, Psychology, Education, Business, or related field.
• AT least two years of case management or homeless services experience.
• Experience with trauma-informed care and Housing First.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and documentation systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel in the community.

Responsabilidades

• Assess housing barriers and develop Housing Stability Plans with clients.
• Maintain weekly client communication and coordinate services.
• Support housing searches, lease-up, and landlord communication.
• Use motivational interviewing and culturally responsive advocacy.
• Connect clients with employment, benefits, healthcare, and resources.
• Maintain HMIS and HUD-compliant case notes; complete notes weekly.
