Volunteers of America Illinois is seeking a Client Support & Service Coordinator – Rapid Rehousing in Chicago, IL. You will provide client-centered, trauma-informed support to help individuals and families secure and sustain housing, with a focus on collaborative, compassionate care.

The role emphasizes housing navigation, rental assistance, and documentation in HMIS, with on-site work and one remote day per week after six months of training.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, education, business, or related field.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in case management, homeless services, or similar populations.
• Experience with trauma-informed care and Housing First principles is preferred.

Mansioni

• Assess client needs and develop Housing Stability Plans.
• Coordinate services to support housing retention and income growth.
• Assist with housing searches, leases, and landlord communications.
• Maintain accurate case notes and HMIS documentation.
• Provide trauma-informed, client-centered support and advocacy.
